Lacing Tapes & Cords
At Atkins & Pearce, we manufacture a selection of lacing tapes, lacing cords and braiding yarns that meet or exceed military specifications. From our 550,000 square foot ISO-certified facility in Covington, Kentucky, we manufacture and deliver standard mil-spec wire harnessing products, as well as design and manufacture custom solutions for leading manufacturers around the globe.
Flat braid manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament nylon yarn. Temperature range: -67°F to 250°F (-55°C to 121°C).
Flat braid manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament polyester yarn. Temperature range: -100°F to 350°F (-73°C to 177°C).
Flat braid manufactured from continuous filament teflon yarn. Temperature range: -100°F to 450°F (-73°C to 232°C).
Flat braid manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament glass yarn coated with teflon before braiding. Temperature range: Glass maintains strength and is stable to 800°F (427°C).
Flat braid manufactured from continuous filament Nomex yarn. Temperature range: -67°F to 500°F (-55°C to 260°C).
Twisted nylon cord manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament yarn. Temperature range: -67°F to 250°F (-55°C to 121°C).
Non-braided flat tape manufactured from high tenacity nylon yarn. This material has a waxed finish for improved knot holding.
